Denton Thrift are a sound to watch out for

Denton Thrift are a mellow electro pop outfit based in Leeds made up of Conor Jordan and Jess Mollie.

They met while both studying at the University of Leeds and now have begun what will hopefully become an extensive catalog of great tunes.

They currently have a couple tracks that have peaked out interest. “Fear In The Night” takes on a minimal sonic foundation and a slower beat, floating off into a pleasant melodic synth ending.

The Sade cover “Sweetest Taboo” is very similar with tranquil vibes plaguing the sound, drifting into a heavier synth influenced ending with a lot more bite and vibrance.

The pair are now in the process of constructing their debut EP scheduled for an April 2018 release.

Stay tuned for more, and in the mean time check out their current work via Spotify here.
